I am currently an undergraduate at Cornell University studying Computer Science, with a minor in Public Policy.

At Cornell I am a part of the Milstein Program in Technology and Humanity, through which I worked on a junior capstone project with the Digital Due Process Clinic. I am also deeply involved with the Cornell CIS community as a teaching assitant for CS 2110: Object Oriented Programming and Data Structures, and VP of Community for Women in Computing at Cornell (WICC). I was previously an undergraduate research fellow at the Cornell Tech Policy Lab, now the Cornell Tech Policy Institute.

I spent the summers of 2022 and 2023 working as a Software Engineering Intern at Slack. I spent my time there working with the Bedrock (Kubernetes) and Datastores teams.

In my free time I enjoy documenting my culinary attempts on instagram(@tanvicooks) and studying Kathak, a form of Indian classical dance. At Cornell, I am the co-president of Cornell Nazaqat, a Kathak-fusion dance team.
